News June 5: New Lottery - Arkansas State Lottery slated to be opertational by late November 2009. The lottery commission recently appointed a director.

New Lottery Director Ernie Passailaigue has headed the South Carolina lottery since its start in 2002. Mr. Psaailaigue says the new lottery should bring $125 million net revenue for Arkansas college scholarships in it's first year of operation.
